This was by far the highlight of the day, thanks to Marisol. We missed being one of the first 400 people to get the stamp to be able to hike this unbelievable trail. Marisol took us to a certain place to wait in line in case some hikers didn't show up at their designated time. She worked her magic! If you ever do this trip ... get a guide! Some guys near us had gotten up at 4AM that morning and walked up instead of taking the bus so they could be here when it opened to get their stamps for the hike. Somehow they didn't get the correct stamp and they were lined up with us...then they were in the wrong line and even had to get behind us! The kids are signing in...noting time, have to sign out and note time when you leave. Strict about the numbers in & out!
